Fun learning

All parents want to give their children the best springboard to their learning.

During the year, we introduced a 6-week program with an Occupational Therapist and Speech Pathologist to assist four-year-old children with listening, social, fine motor, gross motor and expressive language skills during their preschool year. A small-group setting encouraged participation from all.

The activities undertaken by children targeted the skills needed for learning in the preschool classroom and were offered to current clients of our Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy service, reducing the need for one-on-one sessions.

Families commented that the group environment was a fun way for their children to learn. It still enabled individual monitoring to ensure each child’s development was supported.
